Is postage included in the price?
Yes! All Curious Creatures treasures come with postage already included in the listed price — no sneaky extras at checkout.
When will my order be shipped?
All handmade pieces are carefully packaged and posted within 3–4 working days of your order.
Which type of postage do you use?
It depends on the size and weight of the item you adopt:
- Small & light pieces (like tiny trinkets or letter-sized curiosities) may be sent as Royal Mail Letter or Large Letter.
- Medium creations may travel as a Royal Mail Small Parcel.
- Larger or more delicate creatures may be sent as a Royal Mail Parcel.
First Class or Second Class?
I choose the most fitting option depending on the item. Some treasures travel First Class, some Second Class — but rest assured each one is packaged with care and proof of postage is always kept.
Do you offer tracked postage?
For bigger or more precious pieces, tracked postage is included in the price. For smaller items, it’s usually standard First or Second Class (to keep costs gentle for you).
Returns & Refunds
Do you accept returns?
As each Curious Creature is handmade with care, returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If there’s ever a problem with your order, please contact me within 14 days of delivery so we can work out the best solution together.
What if my item arrives damaged?
I package all creatures carefully, but if one should arrive hurt along the journey, please send me a message and a photo within 48 hours of receiving it. I’ll do my very best to make things right.
Do you cover return postage?
Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival.
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are issued once the returned item arrives safely back with me. For items that cannot be returned (custom or personalised creations), I may offer a replacement or partial refund instead.
What about custom orders?
Custom or made-to-order pieces are non-refundable, but I’ll always keep in touch during the crafting process to make sure you’re happy with your unique treasure.
Damages & Broken Treasures
What if my order arrives damaged?
I take great care in wrapping each Curious Creature so they travel safely — but sometimes the postal journey can be a little bumpy. If your treasure arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the item. This helps me understand what went wrong and make it right.
What happens next?
Depending on the situation, I can offer:
- A replacement (if another of the same design is available),
- A repair (if you’re happy to send the piece back to me), or
- A refund if neither option is possible.
Do I need to send the item back?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no — it depends on the type of damage and the item itself. I’ll let you know the best next step once you get in touch.
